BG 10.31 अनुष्टुप्
पवनः पवतामस्मि रामः शस्त्रभृतामहम्
झषाणां मकरश्चास्मि स्रोतसामस्मि जाह्नवी
pavanaḥ pavatāmasmi rāmaḥ śastrabhṛtāmaham .jhaṣāṇāṃ makaraścāsmi srotasāmasmi jāhnavī
English Translation
Among purifiers, I am the wind; among warriors, I am Shree Rama. Among fishes, I am the shark; and among streams, I am the Ganges.
हिन्दी अनुवाद
मैं पवित्र करने वालों में वायु और शस्त्रधारियों में श्रीराम हूँ तथा मछलियों में मगर हूँ और नदियों में श्रीभागीरथी गंगाजी हूँ |
BG 10.32 अनुष्टुप्
सर्गाणामादिरन्तश्च मध्यं चैवाहमर्जुन
अध्यात्मविद्या विद्यानां वादः प्रवदतामहम्
sargāṇāmādirantaśca madhyaṃ caivāhamarjuna .adhyātmavidyā vidyānāṃ vādaḥ pravadatāmaham
English Translation
Arjuna, I am the beginning and the middle and the end of all creations. Of sciences, I am the science of the soul, or metaphysics; in disputants, I am the right type of reasoning.
हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अर्जुन! सृष्टियों का आदि और अन्त तथा मध्य भी मैं ही हूँ। मैं विद्याओं में अध्यात्मविद्या अर्थात् ब्रह्मविद्या और परस्पर विवाद करने वालों का तत्त्वनिश्चित करने के लिये किया जाने वाला वाद हूँ |
BG 10.33 अनुष्टुप्
अक्षराणामकारोऽस्मि द्वन्द्वः सामासिकस्य च
अहमेवाक्षयः कालो धाताहं विश्वतोमुखः
akṣarāṇāmakāro.asmi dvandvaḥ sāmāsikasya ca .ahamevākṣayaḥ kālo dhātāhaṃ viśvatomukhaḥ
English Translation
Among the sounds represented by the various letters, I am ‘A’; of the different kinds of compounds in grammar, I am the copulative compound. I am verily the endless Time; I am the sustainer of all, having My face on all sides.
हिन्दी अनुवाद
मैं अक्षरों में अकार हूँ और समासों में दण्डनामक समास हूँ। अक्षय काल अर्थात् काल का भी महाकाल तथा सब ओर मुखवाला, विराट् स्वरूप, सबका धारण- पोषण करने वाला भी मैं ही हूँ |
BG 10.34 अनुष्टुप्
मृत्युः सर्वहरश्चाहमुद्भवश्च भविष्यताम्
कीर्तिः श्रीर्वाक्च नारीणां स्मृतिर्मेधा धृतिः क्षमा
mṛtyuḥ sarvaharaścāhamudbhavaśca bhaviṣyatām .kīrtiḥ śrīrvākca nārīṇāṃ smṛtirmedhā dhṛtiḥ kṣamā
English Translation
I am the all-destroying Death that snatches all, and the origin of all that shall be born. Among women, I am Kirti, Shree, Vak, Smrti, Medha, Dhrti and Ksama.
हिन्दी अनुवाद
मैं सबका नाश करने वाला मृत्यु और उत्पन्न होने वालों का उत्पत्ति हेतु हूँ तथा स्त्रियों में कीर्ति, श्री, वाक्, स्मृति, मेधा, धृति और क्षमा हूँ। |
BG 10.35 अनुष्टुप्
बृहत्साम तथा साम्नां गायत्री छन्दसामहम्
मासानां मार्गशीर्षोऽहमृतूनां कुसुमाकरः
bṛhatsāma tathā sāmnāṃ gāyatrī chandasāmaham .māsānāṃ mārgaśīrṣo.ahamṛtūnāṃ kusumākaraḥ
English Translation
Likewise among the Srutis that can be sung, I am the variety known as Brhatsama; while among the Vedic hymns, I am the hymn known as Gayatri. Again, among the twelve months of the Hindu calendar; I am the month Margasirsha and among the seasons, I am the spring.
हिन्दी अनुवाद
तथा गायन करने योग्य श्रुतियों में मैं बृहत्साम और छन्दों में गायत्री छन्द हूँ तथा महीनों में मार्गशीर्ष और ऋतुओं में वसन्त मैं हूँ |
BG 10.36 अनुष्टुप्
द्यूतं छलयतामस्मि तेजस्तेजस्विनामहम्
जयोऽस्मि व्यवसायोऽस्मि सत्त्वं सत्त्ववतामहम्
dyūtaṃ chalayatāmasmi tejastejasvināmaham .jayo.asmi vyavasāyo.asmi sattvaṃ sattvavatāmaham
English Translation
I am gambling among deceitful practices, and the glory of the glorious. I am the victory of the victorious, the resolve of the resolute, the goodness of the good.
हिन्दी अनुवाद
मैं छल करने वालों में जुआ और प्रभावशाली पुरुषों का प्रभाव हूँ। मैं जीतने वालों का विजय हूँ, निश्चय करने वालों का निश्चय और सात्त्विक पुरुषों का सात्त्विक भाव हूँ|
BG 10.37 अनुष्टुप्
वृष्णीनां वासुदेवोऽस्मि पाण्डवानां धनञ्जयः
मुनीनामप्यहं व्यासः कवीनामुशना कविः
vṛṣṇīnāṃ vāsudevo.asmi pāṇḍavānāṃ dhanañjayaḥ .munīnāmapyahaṃ vyāsaḥ kavīnāmuśanā kaviḥ
English Translation
Among the Vrishnis I am Vasudeva, among the Pandavas I am Dhananjaya; among the sages I am Vyasa, and among poets I am the poet Ushanas.
हिन्दी अनुवाद
वृष्णिवंशियों में वासुदेव अर्थात मैं स्वयं तेरा सखा, गाण्डवों में धनञ्जय अर्थात तू, मुनियों में वेदव्यास और कवियों में शुक्राचार्य कवि भी मैं ही हूँ|
BG 10.38 अनुष्टुप्
दण्डो दमयतामस्मि नीतिरस्मि जिगीषताम्
मौनं चैवास्मि गुह्यानां ज्ञानं ज्ञानवतामहम्
daṇḍo damayatāmasmi nītirasmi jigīṣatām .maunaṃ caivāsmi guhyānāṃ jñānaṃ jñānavatāmaham
English Translation
I am the subduing power in rulers; I am righteousness in those who seek to conquer. Of things to be kept secret, I am the custodian in the shape of reticence; and I am the wisdom of the wise.
हिन्दी अनुवाद
मैं दमन करने वालों का दण्ड अर्थात् दमन करने की शक्ति हूँ, जीतने की इच्छा वालों की नीति हूँ, गुप्त रखने योग्य भावों का रक्षक मौन हूँ और ज्ञानवानों का तत्व ज्ञान मैं ही हूँ |
BG 10.39 अनुष्टुप्
यच्चापि सर्वभूतानां बीजं तदहमर्जुन
न तदस्ति विना यत्स्यान्मया भूतं चराचरम्
yaccāpi sarvabhūtānāṃ bījaṃ tadahamarjuna .na tadasti vinā yatsyānmayā bhūtaṃ carācaram
English Translation
Arjuna, I am even that which is the seed of all life. For there is no creature, moving or inert, which exists without Me.
हिन्दी अनुवाद
और हे अर्जुन! जो सब भूतों की उत्पत्ति का कारण है, वह भी मैं ही हूँ; क्योंकि ऐसा चर और अचर कोई भी भूत नहीं है, जो मुझसे रहित हो |
BG 10.40 अनुष्टुप्
नान्तोऽस्ति मम दिव्यानां विभूतीनां परन्तप
एष तूद्देशतः प्रोक्तो विभूतेर्विस्तरो मया
nānto.asti mama divyānāṃ vibhūtīnāṃ parantapa .eṣa tūddeśataḥ prokto vibhūtervistaro mayā
English Translation
Arjuna, there is no limit to My divine manifestation. This is only a brief description by Me of the extent of My glory.
हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे परंतप! मेरी दिव्य विभूतियों का अन्त नहीं है, मैंने अपनी विभूतियों का यह विस्तार तो तेरे लिये एकदेश से अर्थात् संक्षेप से कहा है |
BG 10.41 अनुष्टुप्
यद्यद्विभूतिमत्सत्त्वं श्रीमदूर्जितमेव वा
तत्तदेवावगच्छ त्वं मम तेजोंऽशसम्भवम्
yadyadvibhūtimatsattvaṃ śrīmadūrjitameva vā .tattadevāvagaccha tvaṃ mama tejoṃśasambhavam
English Translation
Whatever is endowed with existence, consciousness, and glory, know that to be a manifestation of a part of My splendor.
हिन्दी अनुवाद
जो-जो भी विभूति युक्त अर्थात् ऐश्वर्य युक्त, कान्ति युक्त और शक्ति युक्त वस्तु है, उस-उसको तू मेरे तेज के अंश की ही अभिव्यक्ति जान |
BG 10.42 अनुष्टुप्
अथवा बहुनैतेन किं ज्ञातेन तवार्जुन
विष्टभ्याहमिदं कृत्स्नमेकांशेन स्थितो जगत्
athavā bahunaitena kiṃ jñātena tavārjuna .viṣṭabhyāhamidaṃ kṛtsnamekāṃśena sthito jagat
English Translation
Or, what will you gain by knowing all this in detail, Arjuna? Suffice it to say that I stand holding this entire universe by a fraction of My Yogic power.
हिन्दी अनुवाद
अथवा हे अर्जुन! इस बहुत जानने से तेरा क्या प्रयोजन है। मैं इस सम्पूर्ण जगत को अपनी योग शक्ति के एक अंशमात्र से धारण करके स्थित हूँ|
