sarve śṛṇuta bhadraṃ vo mā kurudhvaṃ mano'nyathā | paurāṇāṃ mama sītāyāṃ yādṛśī vartate kathā ||
English Scholarly Translation
May good betide you-do not act against my desire. Hear, what the citizens have been talking about me and Sītā.
