अवश्यं क्रियमाणस्य दृश्यते कर्मणः फलम् । अलं निर्वेदमागम्य न हि नो मलिनं क्षमम् ॥

avaśyaṃ kriyamāṇasya dṛśyate karmaṇaḥ phalam | alaṃ nirvedamāgamya na hi no malinaṃ kṣamam ||
English Scholarly Translation
Those who act, for certain behold the fruit of their endeavours; but if people once give way to grief, they cannot again attain vigour.
