स गत्वा लक्ष्मणः श्रीमान्नदीं गोदावरीं तदा । स्नात्वा पद्मानि चादाय सफलः पुनरागतः ॥

sa gatvā lakṣmaṇaḥ śrīmānnadīṃ godāvarīṃ tadā | snātvā padmāni cādāya saphalaḥ punarāgataḥ ||
English Scholarly Translation
And then going to the river Godāvarī, the lovely Lakşmana, performing his bath, and securing lotuses and fruits, came back (to the asylum).
