taṃ śabdamabhinidhyāya rākṣasī krodhamūrchitā | śrutvā cābhyadravadvegādyataḥ śabdo viniḥsṛtaḥ ||
English Scholarly Translation
And rendered almost insensible by anger, that Räksasī furiously rushed in a main towards the spot whence had come the report.
