tathā sarvaprajākāntaiḥ prītisaṃjananaiḥ pituḥ | guṇairviruruce rāmo dīptaḥ sūrya ivāṃśubhiḥ ||
English Scholarly Translation
In virtue of his self-control and other qualities, dear to the subjects and capable of exciting the delight of mankind, Rāma shines even like the effulgent Sun surrounded by his rays.
