Roman Transliteration (IAST)
evamukto dhigityeva rājā daśaratho'bravīt | vrīḍitaśca janaḥ sarvaḥ sā ca tannāvabudhyata ||
English Scholarly Translation
Hearing the words of Kaikeyi, Dasaratha could say only 'shame'. All the people felt ashamed, but Kaikeyi could not understand this.
