जयो वधो वा संग्रामे धात्रा दिष्टः सनातनः । स्वधर्मः क्षत्रियस्यैष कार्पण्यं न प्रशस्यते ॥
English Scholarly Translation
Victory or death has been originally fixed by the Father of the universe. The proper course of life for a Kshatriya is this (war) and it is not proper to show a humiliating spirit in this course. son
