तमुपाध्यायः प्रत्युवाच । नैतन्न्याय्यं पय उपयोक्तुं भवतो मयाननुज्ञातमिति ॥
English Scholarly Translation
Upamanyu, thus questioned, replied, “Sir, I now support myself with the milk of these cows.” Hearing which the preceptor said, “It is not proper for you to drink the milk, since you were not addressed by me."
