बृहस्पते मरुत्तस्य मा स्म कार्षीः कथंचन । दैवं कर्माथ वा पित्र्यं कर्तासि मम चेत्प्रियम् ॥
English Scholarly Translation
O Brihaspati, if we wish to do what is agreeable to me, do not perform priestly offices for Marutta on behalf of the celestials or the departed Manes. I have, O Brihaspati, obtained the sovereignty of the three worlds, while Marutta is merely the king of the Earth.
