किं श्रेयः पुरुषस्येह किं कुर्वन्सुखमेधते । विपाप्मा च भवेत्केन किं वा कल्मषनाशनम् ॥
English Scholarly Translation
Yudhishthira said What, indeed, is beneficial for a person in this world? What is that by doing which one may acquire happiness? By what may one be purged of all his sins? Indeed, what is that which destroys sins?
