तां कुरूणां प्रविततां शस्त्रवृष्टिं समुद्यताम् । व्यधमत्पाण्डवो बाणैस्तमः सूर्य इवांशुभिः ॥
English Scholarly Translation
The son of Pandu with his own weapons baffled those hosts of arrows which covered the skies even as the sun shines out in its own splendour dispelling the darkness by the power of the rays.
