ते वध्यमानाः कर्णेन पाण्डवेयास्ततस्ततः । प्राद्रवन्त रणे भीताः कर्णं दृष्ट्वा महाबलम् ॥
English Scholarly Translation
Thus beaten by that foremost of carwarriors, Karna, the Pandava troops began to flee in all directions-afraid to face him in battle.
