गुणान्गुणवतः शल्य गुणवान्वेत्ति नागुणः । त्वं तु नित्यं गुणैर्हीनः किं ज्ञास्यस्यगुणो गुणान् ॥
English Scholarly Translation
Karna said O Shalya, the meritorious only appreciate the merits of those who possess them and not one who has none. You are destitute of all merits. How can you understand what is merit and what is demerit.
