ततो मयः स्वतपसा चक्रे धीमान्पुराणि ह । त्रीणि काञ्चनमेकं तु रौप्यं कार्ष्णायसं तथा ॥
English Scholarly Translation
Thereupon Maya, who was of superior intelligence, constructed the three cities with the help of his own asceticism, the one of the three was inade of gold, the second of silver and the third of black iron.
