paśya lakṣmaṇa śīteṣuṃ mānavaṃ dharmasaṃhitam | mohayitvā nayatyenaṃ na ca prāṇairviyujyate ||
English Scholarly Translation
Behold, O Laksmana, this Manava weapon first used by Manu, depriving him of his senses has carried him off, and yet has not taken his life!
