The Revelation of Śiva Sūtras
The Śiva Sūtras are the foundational canonical scripture of Non-dual Kashmir Śaivism (Trika and Spanda schools). According to tradition, Lord Śiva appeared in a dream to the sage Vasugupta (9th century CE) on Mahādeva mountain near Srinagar, directing him to a rock where these aphorisms were found carved.
