एतज्ज्योतिरुत्तमं जीवलोके; शुक्लं प्रजानां विहितं विधात्रा । ते चेल्लोभं न नियच्छन्ति मन्दाः; कृत्स्नो नाशो भविता कौरवाणाम् ॥
English Scholarly Translation
This light has been instituted by Providence for the good of beings in this world. If those dull-headed ones do not treat with forbearance their short-comings will the sons of Kuru meet with ruin.
