पुत्रशोकसमाविष्टो निःश्वसन्ह्येष भूमिपः । न शेते वसतीः सर्वा धृतराष्ट्रो महामुने ॥
English Scholarly Translation
Afflicted with grief on account of the destruction of his his children, this king Dhritarashtra, always breathes heavily, and never sleeps at night, O great Rishi.
