यदि वाप्येकपुत्रः स्यादपुत्रो यदि वा भवेत् । नाधिकं दशमाद्दद्याच्छूद्रापुत्राय भारत ॥
English Scholarly Translation
Whether the father happens to have children (by his wives belonging to the other castes) or to have no children, to the son by the Shudra wife, O Bharata, nothing more than a tenth part of the father's wealth should be given.
