त्यज्यतामेष निस्तेजाः शून्यः काष्ठत्वमागतः । अन्यदेहविषक्तो हि शावं काष्ठमुपासते ॥
English Scholarly Translation
Leave off this dead body which has no longer any animal heat in it and which is as stiff as a piece of wood. Why then do you not go away, leaving the body of this child which is like a piece of wood and whose life had entered a new body?
