उभे तु यस्य सुकृते भवेतां; किं स्वित्तयोस्तत्र जयोत्तरं स्यात् । आचक्ष्व नः कर्मफलं महर्षे; कथं पापं नुदते पुण्यशीलः ॥
English Scholarly Translation
Can not that person free himself from both virtue and sin who regards the two (happiness and inisery) equally? Tell us, O great Rishi, what are the fruits of righteousness, and how does a virtuous person remove his sins!
