तमेवंवादिनं पार्थं बन्धुशोकेन विह्वलम् । मैवमित्यब्रवीद्व्यासो निगृह्य मुनिसत्तमः ॥
English Scholarly Translation
Vaishampayana said Preventing Pritha's son, who beside himself with sorrow on account of his kinsmen, gave vent to such words, Vyasa, that best of ascetics, said, first telling him,-'This cannot be.'
