एवमेतन्मया कार्यं नाहं दण्डधरस्तव । स च पूतो नरपतिस्त्वं चापि पितृभिः सह ॥
English Scholarly Translation
Shankha said I should not have acted otherwise. I am not your punisher. The king has been himself purified as also yourself, along with the Pitris.
