उक्तं भीष्मेण यद्वाक्यं हितं पथ्यं च माधव । तच्चापि नासौ कृतवान्वीतबुद्धिः सुयोधनः ॥
English Scholarly Translation
The words, that were given vent to by Bhishma, O Madhava, were beneficial and should have been accepted. Suyodhana however, who had lost his understanding, did not follow them.
