आदित्यश्चन्द्रमा वायुर्भूमिरापोऽम्बरं दिशः । सर्वे ब्राह्मणमाविश्य सदान्नमुपभुञ्जते ॥
English Scholarly Translation
The Sun, the Moon, the Wind, the Water, the Earth, the Sky and the points of the compass, all enter the body of the Brahmana and take what the Brahmana eats. In that house where Brahmanas do not eat, the departed manes refuse to eat.
