यावन्तः पतिता विप्रा जडोन्मत्तास्तथैव च । दैवे वाप्यथ वा पित्र्ये राजन्नार्हन्ति केतनम् ॥
English Scholarly Translation
All Brahmanas that have been outcasted, as also Brahmanas who are idiots and insane, do not deserve to be invited to Shraddhas in which offerings are made to either the deities or the departed manes.
