उवाच चैनं संरब्धं शमयन्निव केशवः । आत्मवृद्धिर्मित्रवृद्धिर्मित्रमित्रोदयस्तथा । विपरीतं द्विषत्स्वेतत्षड्विधा वृद्धिरात्मनः ॥
English Scholarly Translation
For pacifying the angry Rama, Keshava addressed him, saying, "There are six sorts of advancement that a person may scek, viz., one's own advancement, the advancement of one's friends' the destruction of one enemy, the destruction of one's enemy's friends, and the destruction of one's enemy's friends' friends.
