Nirmalya Narayan Chakraborty is presently Vice-Chancellor of Presidency University, Kolkata and Chairman, Indian Council of Philosophical Research (ICPR), New Delhi. He was a Professor of Philosophy at Rabindra Bharati University, Kolkata. He has been a Visiting Fellow at several Universities including Glasgow, Pune, Hyderabad, and Naples.
