Launching Soon — Volume I, Issue I Accepting Submissions
PYMINDS is an open-access, peer-reviewed, multidisciplinary biannual e-journal dedicated to publishing original research and creative scholarship by students in Classes IX through XII.
In an era shaped by artificial intelligence and information overload, PYMINDS equips young scholars with the tools to think critically, evaluate sources with rigour, and contribute responsibly to global academic dialogue — before they enter university.
Every submission undergoes a structured double-blind review process guided by our faculty mentors, ensuring that quality and academic integrity remain the journal's cornerstone.
Publication at the school level is more than a credential — it is a formative experience. Students who write for a real audience learn to structure arguments, cite evidence properly, and receive constructive critique from domain experts.
PYMINDS creates that rare, rigorous forum: a space where a Class XI student's investigation into antibiotic resistance or a Class X poet's literary analysis receives the same scholarly attention as work published in professional journals.
As a companion platform of Poorvam, PYMINDS draws on an established editorial culture and a network of research mentors.
Three principles that govern every published work
Submissions are evaluated on clarity of methodology, integrity of argument, and proper attribution — the same standards applied to professional scholarship.
PYMINDS publishes only first-submission, unpublished work. Every paper passes through plagiarism screening before peer review commences.
All articles are freely available under open-access terms. Knowledge produced by students belongs to the wider world — not behind a paywall.
