Biography

Dr. Raj Raj Mukhopadhyay is presently serving as an Assistant Professor in English at Michael Madhusudan Memorial College, Durgapur. He also teaches as a Visiting Faculty at the Department of English, Biswa Bangla Biswabidyalay. He completed his M.A. with a 1st Class First degree from Visva-Bharati, Santiniketan in 2017. He had also earned M.Phil. in the year 2019 and Ph.D. degree in 2025 from Visva-Bharati. His research areas include Historical fiction, Partition literature, Classical literature, Postcolonial studies, Indian mythology, and Popular literature. Dr. Mukhopadhyay has more than twenty research publications to his credit. Apart from being a university champion in Quiz and state-level champion in Debate; his passion lies in creative writing, recitation, and extempore. He can be reached at rajrajmukhopadhyay@gmail.com.
