<jats:p>This article investigates the hydrological indicators of the Kamashi Reservoir and their impact on the meliorative condition of lands within its zone of influence. During the study, the reservoir water level, water storage volume, groundwater depth, and the soil salinity level were analyzed. In addition, factors affecting changes in the meliorative condition of irrigated lands surrounding the reservoir were evaluated. The obtained results demonstrated that the hydrological regime of the reservoir directly influences the meliorative condition of the lands, particularly through groundwater table rise and increased soil salinization observed in certain areas. Based on the findings, recommendations were developed to improve the meliorative condition of regional lands, ensure rational use of water resources, and enhance the efficiency of drainage systems.</jats:p>
