Abstract
<jats:p>The Universal Principles of the Divine Order Sunnatullah The Example of Tafsīr al-Manār This study investigates the concept of Sunnatullah in the Tafsir al-Manar. The introduction provides information about the authors of Tafsir al-Manar, Muhammad Abduh and Rashid Rida, focusing on their lives and scholarly profiles. Additionally, the conceptual framework of the term Sunnatullah in the Quran is discussed within the context of both classical and modern exegesis. In the first chapter, Sunnatullah is examined in relation to creation (takwīn) and divine decree (taqdīr), including topics such as causality in events, the creation of the universe, natural phenomena, prophethood, and divine revelation. The second chapter explores Sunnatullah in the context of human nature and behavior. The third chapter addresses the concept of Sunnatullah from the perspective of society and civilization, emphasizing its social dimensions. Overall, the phenomenon of Sunnatullah is studied within the framework of the God-universe-human relationship, specifically through the lens of Tafsir al-Manar.
