<jats:p>The article is devoted to a comparative study of substantivation as a key stylistic device in Russian and Uzbek media prose of the XXI century. It analyzes semantic transformations, functional possibilities and cultural features of the transition of different parts of speech into the category of nouns. Special attention is paid to the role of substantivation in creating an artistic image in the context of digitalization of literature.</jats:p>
