<jats:p>This article examines the influence of learner autonomy on English language achievement among university students. Learner autonomy is considered an important factor in modern language education because it encourages students to take responsibility for their own learning, set goals, select appropriate learning strategies, and evaluate their progress. The study explores the relationship between autonomous learning behaviors and students’ achievement in English language learning. It highlights the role of motivation, self-regulation, independent learning, and effective use of learning resources in improving language proficiency. The findings suggest that developing learner autonomy can contribute significantly to higher academic performance and greater success in English language learning among university students.</jats:p>
