<jats:p>This article examines the role of social media in the development of modern language from a linguistic perspective. It analyzes lexical, grammatical, stylistic, and pragmatic changes caused by digital communication. Special attention is paid to the emergence of neologisms, internet slang, abbreviations, emojis, and multimodal communication as important factors in language evolution.</jats:p>
