УЧАСТИЕ МИХАИЛА КОРОНАТОВИЧА БАХИРЁВА В РУССКО-ЯПОНСКОЙ ВОЙНЕ 1904-1905 ГГ.

<jats:p>Статья посвящена описаниюианализу деятельностивыдающегося военно-морского деятеля России М.К. Бахирёва в годы Русско-японской войны 1904—1905 гг., поскольку его участие в этойвойненепривлекло донастоящего момента внимания исследователей. Научной биографии этого флотоводца Российской империи последних лет ее существования также до сих пор не существует. В работе рассматриваются аспекты боевых действий 1-й эскадры российскогофлота в Тихомокеане при оборонеПорт-Артура, в томчисле эскадренногоминоносца «Смелый», которымкомандовал М.К. Бахирёв. За свои боевые подвиги в ходе различных военно-морских операций во время обороны Порт-Артура М.К. Бахирёв был удостоен награждения двумя орденами, золотой саблей и повышения в чине. Именно боевая служба по защите Порт-Артура выковала из М.К. Бахирёва флотоводца, дала ему бесценный боевой опыт, который адмирал позднее успешно применял в операциях против врага в ходе Первой Мировой войны.</jats:p> <jats:p>The article is devoted to the description and analysis of the activities of the outstanding Russian naval figure M.K. Bakhirev during the RussoJapanese War of 1904—1905, since his participation in this war has not attracted the attention of researchers to date. The scientific biography of this naval commander of the Russian Empire in the last years of its existence also still does not exist. The paper examines aspects of the combat operations of the 1st squadron of the Russian Fleet in the Pacific Ocean during the defense of Port Arthur, including the destroyer «Smely», commanded by M.K. Bakhirev. For his military exploits during various naval operations during the defense of Port Arthur, M.K. Bakhirev was awarded two orders, a golden saber and a promotion in rank. It was the combat service for the protection of Port Arthur that forged a naval commander from M.K. Bakhirev, gave him invaluable combat experience, which the admiral later successfully applied in operations against the enemy during the First World War.</jats:p>
