<jats:p>This article provides a theoretical and methodological analysis of the psychological determinants underlying the formation and development of goal-directedness in university students. It highlights the role of personal volitional traits, academic motivation, self- regulation, and self-actualization systems in goal achievement. The findings contribute to enhancing the efficiency of students' professional and personal development.</jats:p>
