Abstract
This article examines the pedagogical effectiveness of game-based training sessions in developing technical skills among football players at the initial stage of sports training. Organizing training activities according to the age-related and psychophysiological characteristics of young athletes is considered a key factor in improving their technical performance. The study investigates the impact of game-based exercises on the development of dribbling, passing, ball control, shooting, and coordination skills. Particular attention is paid to the role of game-oriented training in increasing motivation, encouraging active participation, enhancing decision-making speed, and improving the ability to apply technical skills in realistic game situations. The findings indicate that game-based training methods provide more effective and sustainable development of technical proficiency than conventional instructional approaches. In addition, this methodology contributes to the comprehensive development of motor abilities, tactical thinking, and practical playing experience while creating a positive learning environment. The results of the study can be used to improve the methodology of training young football players through the implementation of innovative pedagogical technologies and learner-centered coaching strategies aimed at enhancing technical competence and long-term athletic development.
