<jats:p>• Jacob Duncan Wenske, 26, arrested May 27, 2026 on two felony terroristic threat counts for alleged threats to bomb a TPUSA summit and kill CEO Erika Kirk—widow of Charlie Kirk, assassinated September 10, 2025. • The #exvangelical / #deconstruction ecosystem frames mainstream civic Christian participation as culturally hegemonic—an oppressive dominant order requiring resistance, not a minority seeking civic engagement. Under this frame, violence against Christian civic actors reads as self-defense. This is the permission structure. • Target selection confirms the thesis: Wenske did not threaten figures on the hard edges of the Christian right. He threatened the centrist civic axis—populist evangelicalism, campus organizing, institutionally moderate conservative Christianity. The permission structure targets Christian civic participation itself, not theological extremism. Wenske's own language conflates 'evangelical' and 'Christian nationalist' as synonyms for civic Christianity broadly—a denominational imprecision that itself defines the threat class. • NCRI April 2025 assassination culture brief—cited by Charlie Kirk 153 days before his death—identified these permission structures.
