<jats:p>This policy brief analyzes whether the multiplicity of anti-Houthi fronts in Yemen can alter the balance of war and create conditions for renewed military pressure toward Sana’a. It argues that multiple fronts do not, by themselves, constitute a strategic shift unless they are preceded by unified political decision-making, command structures, and operational coordination. The brief assesses the recent Houthi escalation in Mokha, Marib, Taiz, and Bab al-Mandab, and examines the strengths and limitations of both the Houthi movement and the forces opposed to it. It concludes that, over the next three to six months, limited restoration of initiative is more realistic than a direct military move toward Sana’a, and recommends a coordinated strategy focused on protecting centers of gravity, raising the cost of Houthi attacks, securing the coast and maritime routes, and improving the government’s position in any future political process.</jats:p>
