Abstract
This article provides a hermeneutic and poetic analysis of the works of Isajon Sulton, a prominent representative of contemporary Uzbek prose, including Boqiy darbadar, Suvdagi kosa, O‘rmondagi kulba, and Farishta. The study explores the symbolic and metaphorical nature of the texts, the author’s conceptual vision, and the philosophical-mythological and spiritual-moral meanings embedded in their various semantic layers. Through a hermeneutic approach, the images and symbols characteristic of the writer’s artistic world are analyzed, with particular attention to the relationship between the characters’ inner experiences and the existential problems of humanity. The findings contribute to a deeper understanding of the multilayered and profound semantic structure of Isajon Sulton’s prose and provide a basis for evaluating textual poetics in contemporary Uzbek novels and novellas.
