Abstract
<jats:p>This article examines the role and significance of the Taj Mahal as a world cultural heritage monument, focusing on its historical development, architectural features, and cultural value. The study explores the history of its construction, the historical relationship between Shah Jahan and Mumtaz Mahal, the architectural design of the complex, Quranic calligraphic inscriptions, decorative inlay techniques, and principles of symmetry. Particular attention is given to the geological, environmental, and engineering aspects of the monument, as well as its status as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.</jats:p>
