<jats:p>In ancient Khorezm, the interaction of various factors contributed to the formation of cities and the development of urbanization processes. Among these factors, the development of religion and culture played a significant role. Since ancient times, religious and cultural centers in the Khorezm oasis attracted populations and contributed to the development of urbanization. In addition to their religious functions, these centers also served as important hubs of cultural life. Temples were constructed within cities, particularly in frontier settlements. The expansion and development of cities, in turn, had a direct influence on the construction and development of religious structures.</jats:p>
