<jats:p>The article analyzes the pedagogical and methodological possibilities of using didactic games organized on the basis of a creative approach to develop the speech and thinking skills of preschool children. Particular attention is paid to open-ended questions, problem situations, independent thinking, creative activity, and the development of children’s communication skills.</jats:p>
