Abstract

This article analyzes the complex artistic relationship between nature and the lyrical hero in the poetry of Sergei Yesenin. In the poet’s works, images of nature serve as an essential aesthetic means of expressing the inner world, emotions, and worldview of the lyrical hero. The study explores the interconnection of natural, national, cosmic, and religious imagery, as well as their integration with folkloric traditions and pantheistic beliefs. The findings demonstrate that the idea of unity between humanity and nature occupies a central place in Yesenin’s poetry, while natural imagery functions as a powerful artistic tool for revealing the spiritual experiences and inner conflicts of the lyrical hero.
