Abstract
<jats:p>The study investigated the plant height formation of “Zamon” and “Mazza” sweet corn varieties depending on furrow, drip, and sprinkler irrigation methods, as well as irrigation regimes of 65-70-60%, 70-75-65%, and 75-80-70% relative to the Field Capacity (FC) under the conditions of foothill regions in the southern territories. An increase in soil moisture levels positively affected plant height. The highest values were recorded under the 75-80-70% regime of sprinkler irrigation, reaching 248.4 cm in the “Zamon” variety and 242.5 m in the “Mazza” variety. In drip irrigation under the same regime, results were 243.8 cm and 238.4 cm, respectively. The findings indicate that selecting the optimal irrigation method and moisture regime is essential for vegetative growth.</jats:p>
