<jats:p>This article provides information on the irrigated areas of the Khorezm region, their salinity levels, melioration status, irrigation networks and their technical condition, the formation and volume of collector-drainage waters, factors influencing them, and mineralization. The results of scientific research conducted to reduce the load on collector-drainage waters are also presented.</jats:p>
