Abstract
<jats:p>This article explores the essence of pedagogical diagnostics in primary education and its importance in identifying and developing students' abilities. It also analyzes diagnostic methods, the characteristics of gifted children, the pedagogical effectiveness of an individualized approach, and the role of modern educational technologies. From a scientific and pedagogical perspective, the article substantiates the development of the intellectual and creative potential of primary school students through the early identification of their abilities.</jats:p>
