<jats:p>Taking into account that creating high-yielding silkworm breeds and hybrids is one of the most pressing issues, this study aimed to develop new strains adapted to extreme climatic conditions. For this purpose, local silkworm breeds as well as those developed at the Tashkent Scientific Research Institute of Sericulture were tested in the extreme continental climate districts of Karakalpakstan. The revivability, biological, and technological indicators of the breeds and hybrids were identified and discussed.</jats:p>
